Summer 2016 Applications Are Open!

So most of you will be back home by now, having spent what I hope was the best summer of your life at camp, and perhaps you did a little bit of travelling too? I’d love to hear all about your summers, so don’t hesitate to get in touch and tell me all about it (or you could take part in my ‘Counselor of the Week‘ series too!). My time at camp has drawn to a close and I’m now off on my travels to California and Central America (to read more about my summer you can head over to a blog I’ve been writing for 3 Adventures over the last few months).

But enough about me. If your summer at camp was as fantastic as mine, or if you’ve spent the summer at home wishing you’d gone to summer camp, then you’ll probably already be thinking about next year, right? Well that’s perfect, because applications are already open and you can get started with sorting your summer 2016!

So whether you’re thinking about starting your summer camp journey for the first time and will be heading to agency recruitment days (see below for more details); have been to camp before and want to try somewhere new; or if you’re returning to the same camp as a direct applicant, it’s time to get those applications started! I know I’ll be doing mine as soon as I get home.

For those of you who have never been to camp before, a great way to get hired quickly is to sign up to your agency’s recruitment fairs – this is when a whole bunch of camp directors come over from America specifically to interview and hire YOU! So get those applications sorted and be ready to meet the directors in the new year.
