It’s that time of year again. Summer is well and truly over, Winter is coming and that can only mean one thing… it’s almost time for the summer camp recruitment fairs! Pretty much every summer camp agency holds a recruitment fair somewhere in the UK and/or Ireland (often in multiple locations) and it’s your BEST chance to get placed at a camp. You can walk in, chat to some people who have been there and done it, have a couple of quick interviews with the camp directors and walk away with a job for the summer! It really is that simple!
If you’re still not sure, or the thought of face to face interviews is absolutely terrifying (camp people are lovely, I promise, there’s no need to be nervous), have a read about how to get ready for the fairs or get more info about what to wear and what to take with you, and I’m sure you’ll be signing up for the fairs in no time.
Signing up to the fairs is free and easy. If you’re not sure you want to 100% commit, that’s fine. You don’t actually have to sign up or say you’re attending, you can also just turn up on the day. I would definitely recommend signing up and doing your application in advance though, so you can just go through to meet the camp directors straight away!
